BEAUTY BITES

To say that people struggle to look after themselves once they become parents is an understatement. Harry is 17 months as I'm writing this and my very last pampering session was a month before he was born. I'm not the kind of mum who feels guilty doing something for themselves. I am, however, the kind that cannot afford going to a beauty parlour to have her nails done and her feet massaged.

As you may or may not know, Harry didn't used to be a very good sleeper - that is also an understatement - and by the time he went to bed at night, I was a lot more inclined and worried about going to bed early to catch some shut eye until his fist feed, which means applying a facial Mask, moisturize my nails or use my foot spa wasn't even a distant thought...I have to confess that I still haven't got around to use the foot spa I was giving from work when Harry was born, is that bad?

Harry is now  a lot more independent and will sleep 12 hours straight every night, plus other 2 to 3 hours during the day -  I know, amazing! - still find I don't have that much time for pampering or even the squid to go out and buy my favorite Neal's Yard cream.

With that in mind I recruited the help of my dear friend Seema Amin to give us some beauty tips.

Seema is a Beauty Therapist specialized in holistic treatments, she loves helping people and has the funny habit of calling her clients and followers; Pamper Pigs (all guys and gals in love with self pampering and looking after themselves holistically, inside and out with great beauty advice and nutritional support)

So join us every week for a little Beauty Bite, share your thoughts and ask questions, let's pamper our gorgeous selves!
